Office Visits
At LaHaye Orthodontics, we want every visit to be comfortable, efficient, and easy to understand. From your first consultation through your final appointment, our team will explain what to expect and make sure you have the information you need throughout treatment.
Your First Visit
Your first visit is an opportunity to meet our team, discuss your goals, and determine whether orthodontic treatment is recommended.
During your consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history
- Complete a thorough orthodontic evaluation and any necessary diagnostic records
- Discuss your treatment options and recommended timing
- Review treatment fees, insurance benefits, and flexible payment options
- Answer your questions so you can make an informed decision about treatment
Not everyone who visits us needs treatment immediately. For younger patients especially, the best recommendation may be continued observation until the timing is right.
Starting Orthodontic Treatment
If treatment is recommended, we'll explain your options and help you choose the approach that best fits your needs. Depending on your treatment plan, this may include braces or clear aligners.
Our team will explain what to expect, how to care for your teeth and appliances, and what you can do to keep treatment progressing as efficiently as possible.
Scheduling Appointments
Regular appointments are an important part of successful orthodontic treatment. The timing of visits varies depending on your treatment plan and progress.
We work to make appointments as convenient as possible. If you're running late or need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help keep your treatment on schedule.
Continue Seeing Your Dentist
Continue seeing your general dentist for routine cleanings and dental care throughout orthodontic treatment. Your dentist and orthodontist have different but complementary roles in keeping your teeth and gums healthy.
When needed, we'll coordinate with your dentist or other dental specialists to help provide comprehensive care.
